Only God can take the broken pieces of your life and make something beautiful out of each one. He is waiting for you to let go of your pain and trust Him. And you really can. No one loves you like He does. You may not always understand or even like His process, but you can always trust His heart of love for you!

Father, I choose to believe You are faithful and will do what You promise to do in Your Word. I believe when I lay the pain and hurt of my past at Your feet, You not only can but will transform it all into something beautiful. I choose to believe You will turn the broken places of my life into living illustrations of Your sufficiency and healing power. I trust You, Lord.

Learn to do good.“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. - Isaiah 1; 17,18

God wants us to confess our sins and receive His forgiveness and cleansing. In Isaiah 1:18, we find these words, “Come now, let us reason together,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” The choice is ours. It’s almost as if God is saying “Come on now, it’s Me. I’m trying to meet you half way. I want to give you a second chance, but you have to want it.”

Almighty and Gracious Father, thank You for opening my eyes to my sin nature and giving me a second chance for eternal life. Help me to keep my eyes opened and not let my lies of denial or stubbornness hinder me from confessing my disobedience and shortcomings to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father, I come to You today and desire a sacred time of quietness before You. I need Your peace. I need to be assured of Your love. I desire to experience Your quiet presence. As I come before You, like a child resting in their mothers love, I ask You to please quiet my heart and fill me with your joy, love and peace. In Jesus’ name. AMEN

Thoughts of Spain – Day 2

Yesterday’s experience in Girona was simply amazing! From hello the group immediately clicked and started on plans. We all walked to a castle which seemed like 30 miles away but was so worth it! The view from the top was breathtaking. Immediatley following that walk we drove to the city of Girona for a guided tour and dinner. The tour of this beautiful city was a sure fire of unexpectency. When we were parking I assumed it was a quant village with a huge cathedral. Well my thoughts were wrong, once we crossed the bridge I was blown away. Girona is college town with lots of animation and fun. The highlight of the night was dinner at Restaurant Divinum ( http://www.divinum.cat/ ) my gosh we had almost a 13 course meal!!! The chef continuously brought out more and more food, wine and bread I think I’m still recovering from the meal! They almost had to roll me to bed for sure!! The bread alone oh my!!! Kudos to the Tourism board of Girona for doing such a phenomenal job at hosting the group! The night ended with sweet rest at one of Charming Villas properties in the country-side of Girona . Richard and his wife Sara ( http://www.charmingvillas.net/) did a great job putting the day together, down to putting together an awesome group!! Looking forward to what tomorrow brings….. #Gods Goodness Never Cease to Amaze Me!

Day 1 thoughts Spain trip….

Growing up I didn’t dream further than Biloxi, today I woke up in Barcelona, Spain anticipating to ride to the country-side of Catalina, Spain where we will visit several villas compliments of www.CharmingVillas.com. I’m really excited about that. All I can say is God is simply amazing and His creations will have you in complete awe!!! Last nights stay at www.apartmentscasp74.com was pretty nice. The apartments are right in the middle of the city walking distance from everything. I would recommend them for families looking to travel. It has a full kitchen and outdoor space which I loved and would have loved to have a party out there. (If I was in charge of this trip I would have definitely hosted the welcome party there lol. At this moment Kamala and I are sitting in Starbucks on our laptops (Starbucks will never be the same!) Updates coming soon… Adios!!
